Picture and Video files can be uploaded from your PC to the website to be included in your Web Site.

In Web Admin - [Pictures] tab

• Select the [Upload] tab
• Enter the location of the Picture or Video file in the Picture box or use the Browse facility to find the file on your PC. See [Browse Button] for more information.
• Enter a useful name for the Picture / Video in the Title box
• Click 'Save;' to upload the Picture or Video.

This facility allows you to select a picture from your PC and upload it to your club "Picture Gallery".

• It is preferable that you "Crop" and "Scale" your picture before uploading to the site.
• However, you can upload a picture direct from from your PC Pictures Library and once uploaded there is an option to "Scale" or "Rotate" it.
• Several format of pictures are accepted, gif, png, jpeg and jpg.
• For a "Page" item a suitable size is a picture between 150 and 250 pixels wide For a full page, 450 wide is probably large enough.
• Once uploaded, you can use the "Picture" in one of three places
  • "Page" item
  • As a "Logo" in the Banner
  • Member Portrait Pictures

Videos

• Videos are uploaded using the same [Upload] Tab and in the same way.
• Video formats are generally mp4
• For efficiency, videos are transferred to an external host Vimeo.com
• Once uploaded, a Vimeo link pseudo vim file can be used instead of a "Picture"

Alternately, you can use the drag and drop feature to upload pictures and videos. If your Browser supports it, split your screen into two and drag a file(s) from your PC into this box to upload direct to Bridgewebs.

The bar above will show the upload progress. Please wait for completion before loading another, especially large pictures straight off a camera or videos. There will be NO need to click [Save].
